Thinking of a pattern for my personal value

We had to come up with different patterns. For my, I wanted to show the skating lions movement in each one.

My challenge was to make it more personal and not Universal so I sketched out me over doing my fears like me going out for basketball, skateboarding, hunting, starting a new path in life, and going out for track.

 

Visual Symposion

This Visual symposium was about the posters and social platforms. It was actually pretty cool because I didn't know posters bring a strong message out.  A poster must be able to universally communicate, connect and deliver its message to anyone in any country. I believe that the only thing that a poster can do is calling people into action and it is a way for an artist to channel thier frustrations towards a particular social problem

Personal values

This project this we had to choose a personal value that means something to you and show your personal in the picture with any mediums so I choose Graphic design and drawing.

COURAGE

Why is courage important in life to me, I think the most important courage is the courage to go out and try new things even though there is a chance to fail. Failure isn't completely a bad thing. Ever hear that old saying, "Try, and try again." Perhaps there's a certain someone that you're attracted to and you are just too shy to talk to them. It could be as simple as trying a movie or food that you have decided that you won't like but keep in mind your own limits.

Courage has played a big part in my life the reason why I say that because having  courage as a young child I was able to overcome many fears that I've had. It has made me a better person today and I am no longer afraid to do things that I was once afraid to do. I still have fears because everyone will always have fears and will always develop a new. Courage plays a big part in people lives because everyone overcomes a fear or for another example, it takes courage to fight for your country, it takes courage to skydive, and it takes courage to stand up to a bully.

My dad told me that I wouldn't make into Art school. He didn't like whole art school thing one bit. He was so negative to me about it. He wanted me to become a businessman or fight for our country. He almost got me to quit doing art because he said I wasn't good enough to make a living off it but I wasn't going to let him stop me from doing something I love because I had courage.

Final Colors 

I really didn't change much of the colors because I wanted to stay with cool colors so I just went more in-depth with the colors.

I went with cool colors for my story because it tends to have that effect of relaxed,  pleased, and beautiful way.
